A Simple Word
I just need a simple wordI’ve already forgiven you in my heart
But I won’t tell you until I hear the word from you
It’s not necessary to be deep and complex
But sincere and honest
I am waiting for you, my son
You know that you are wrong
I know that admitting mistakes isn’t easy
Take the courage to say “sorry”, my son
I just need a simple word
I’ve already forgiven you in my heart
But I won’t tell you that until I hear the word from you

You've labeled the poem "Kyushu." Does that mean the little boy in the photo is your son when you were in Kyushu? If so, it must have been a long time ago. Maybe your boy was three or four years old? In any case, he was -- and must still be -- handsome and beautiful. Delicate features. Nice eyes and jaws too.
ReplyDeleteWhen I took this photograph, he was 8. He is still a handsome boy. Thank you.
