Play

Play

Audience is in darkness, staring at the stage
Where actors elegantly act under the spotlight
Hoping love conquers evil, the prince takes courage
They long for this dream to come true overnight

They’re captured by sadness then lifted up with joy
From a monster, the prince saves the princess
They know that this monstrous world is ugly
They see that a light shines in the darkness

After the play ends, the curtain comes down
The audience is once again in darkness
After all the struggles, nothing has changed
It was a mere dream they glimpsed in the theatre

Justice

Justice

A little girl walks on the road
Her tiny feet leave footprints
On the firm but gentle ground
No one disturbs her footsteps

She doesn’t pick any flowers
Which belong to everyone
Loving gifts from the creator
And she belongs to everyone

The weakest one can live
Without fear and anxiety
The slowest one can have
Wisdom exceeding philosophy

The little girl understands
Why flowers are so beautiful
Dancing in the gentle breeze
Knowing to be loved is so delightful

I am waiting for the new world where no one violate others’ rights.
Minorities are also respected.  There is no ambition, competition and conflict among people.
Everyone has the necessary things and opportunity to study what he or she wants.
Because, all good things are gifts from God for all of us.

For example, a father gives gifts to all of his children,
but if the stronger children take more than the weaker ones, their father would not be happy about it.
The stronger children may think that it is fair for them to have more,
because they fought for the gifts and the gifts are like rewards.
But, I believe if their father is a really loving person,
the father will correct the attitude of the stronger children
because he is the one who bought the gifts and gave them.
He has the right to decide whom he can give the gifts.

What Is Hidden In the Wind

What Is Hidden In the Wind

Standing by the tree that is so tall
Full of leaves ready to fall
By the wind they’re ready to fly
Into the windy blue sky

What’s hidden in the wind?
When will the autumn end?
Waiting for the leaves fall
Down onto the ground soil

Having doubts and expectations,
In a spiral of inclinations
Holding despair and hope,
Going up into the atmosphere

What shall I see in the clear air?
What shall I see in the winter?
When the fallen leaves cease
What shall I see in the calmness?

Hang Myself in the Sky

Hang Myself in the Sky

Hang myself in the sky
The sun is shining
It is frightening
The sky is blue
There's no clue

Looking for secrets
You gave me pamphlets
No matter what you say
I will say “nay”
So you’ll say “nigh-nigh”

Hang myself in the sky
The sun is shining
It is exciting
But, I am in blue
You have no clue

Looking for secrets
You took me to outlets
No matter what you say
I will say “pay”
So you’ll say “bye-bye”

Hang myself in the sky
Singing voice is a bit shaky
Honestly I don’t want to die
You're gonna say “Why?”

A Simple Word

A Simple Word

I just need a simple word
I’ve already forgiven you in my heart
But I won’t tell you until I hear the word from you

It’s not necessary to be deep and complex
But sincere and honest
I am waiting for you, my son

You know that you are wrong
I know that admitting mistakes isn’t easy
Take the courage to say “sorry”, my son

I just need a simple word
I’ve already forgiven you in my heart
But I won’t tell you that until I hear the word from you
